Supporting Police Integrity "Down Under"
The adoption in 2007 of IAPro and BlueTeam by two Australian police agencies - Western Australia Police (WAPOL) and South Australia Police (SAPOL) - represent a major step in the evolution of our products and services.
Our Commitment to Australian Policing Professional Standards
Maintaining an in-depth understanding of the evolving needs of Professional Standards in Australian Policing is essential to our company's expansion into that market.
Introduction of IAPro and BlueTeam in Australia included alterations to suit the Australian market such as appropriate date formatting, complaint review and file tracking functionality.
Most important to the gaining of insight and familiarity by our Company are periodic on-site visits by members of our team to Australian customers and prospective customers.
Our Australian Clients
Western Australia Police Service
The Western Australia Police Service, or WAPOL, is responsible for policing the largest single police jurisdiction in the world, which comprises an area covering 2.5 million square kilometres. Its 6,318 employees include 4,993 sworn police officers. IAPro is currently being used by WAPOL public complaints, risk assessment and internal affairs units to assist in upholding the integrity and effectiveness of their Service.
South Australia Police
In 2007, CI Technologies also welcomed South Australia Police (SAPOL) as our second addition to the IAPro & BlueTeam Australian customer-base.
The SAPOL implementation included data conversion, creation of a HR integration process, and on-site training of their staff in Adelaide, South Australia.
SAPOL's goal is to begin use of BlueTeam by front-line personnel during the first quarter of 2008.
