IAPro has been utilized by Canadian Public Safety Agencies since 2002, when it was initially adopted by Ontario Provincial Police and Toronto Police Service.

As part of it's introduction into the Canadian marketplace in 2002, IAPro was re-tooled to provide features needed by Canadian customers.
These features include support for multiple date formats was added, along with special field naming and formatting functionality. In 2003, features that support the formal charge and disciplinary process that is utilized at many Canadian agencies were added as well.
Further to that end, in 2005 CI Technologies, Inc. has inaugurated a physical presence in Canada through it's Canadian subsidiary, located in Vancouver, BC.
Canadian Client Case Histories
Ontario Provincial Police (OPP)
IAPro has deployed province-wide over a wide area network since 2002, enabling investigations to be conducted, managed and reviewed in real time across the organization. IAPro's early intervention features have become a central part of the OPP's EI program as well.
Toronto Police Service
IAPro was selected as the platform for the Professional Standards Information System (PSIS) project after a two year review of business requirements. As part of their implementation, IAPro was re-tooled with features to support the formal internal prosecutorial process that is applied to serious misconduct along with other requested improvements.
Winnipeg Police Service
In 2005, IAPro and BlueTeam were adopted by Winnipeg Police Service. Winnipeg is the first Canadian customer to adopt BlueTeam, using it to streamline and support the duties of their front-line officers in upholding the integrity of the agency. Winnipeg Police IT have built a custom process whereby IAPro/BlueTeam integrates with their NICHE records management system to pre-populate key data into BlueTeam as entries are made from the field.
Edmonton Police Service
In 2006 Edmonton Police Service adopted IAPro. In addition for its use for investigative support and case management, IAPro is the core knowledge base for the EPS early intervention program, one of the most advanced in Canadian police agencies.
Calgary Police Service
IAPro was implemented early in 2007 at Calgary Police Service, and has underpinned its Professional Standards Unit's operations since.
Peel Regional Police
Also during 2007, IAPro and BlueTeam were adopted by Peel Regional Police. The Region of Peel, located just west of Toronto, employs approximately 2,500 Police Service personnel and is the 2nd largest municipal police force in Ontario, 3rd largest in Canada.
Peel Regional Police are an IAPro "showcase" agency where advanced data conversion and integration processes have been conducted by our integration team. At PRP, scheduled integration processes run nightly, blending information from external systems with IAPro data to provide a more complete view of personnel and organizational performance
Peel Regional Police has also taken the lead in implementing a cutting edge Early Intervention process which hinges on IAPro monitoring indicators that tend to rise when communication skills lower.
Toronto Transit Commission
At year-end 2007, IAPro was implemented at Toronto Transit Commission, where it is being utilized to track and manage complaints. TTC is a significant-size organization with over 9,000 employees.
All Canadian installations included conversion of formerly used systems' data into IAPro format and integration with customers' HR/employee databases.
