Citywide Web-Enabled Use-of-Force Entry at Philadelphia Police Department Begins

After several months of testing, Philadelphia Police Department has "gone live" with direct entry of use-of-force reports over their department intranet. Use-of-force and hospital visit reports are now entered by supervisory-level personnel in precincts throughout the city.
The web-enabled application, built using Microsoft .NET technology, feeds use-of-force reports into the centralized IAPro database for review and approval by IAB analysts.
CI Technologies, in partnership with IBM Global Services, have an ongoing 19 month contract with Philadelphia Police Department to implement IAPro and related services at the Internal Affairs Bureau.
