Western Australia Police Becomes First Australian IAPro and BlueTeam Customer

The Western Australia Police Service - WAPOL - is responsible for policing the largest single police jurisdiction in the world, which comprises an area covering 2.5 million square kilometres. Its 6,318 employees include 4,993 sworn police officers.
Installation of IAPro and BlueTeam at Western Australia Police has included alterations to suit the Australian market such as appropriate date formatting and complaint review functionality. In conjunction with their installation, complaints data from existing databases was merged into the IAPro/BlueTeam database. In addition, a process was created that updates employee information in IAPro from the WAPOL HR system.
IAPro and BlueTeam are being used by the WAPOL public complaints, risk assessment and internal affairs units to assist in upholding the integrity and effectiveness of their Service.
